Carol holds a BA Journalism degree from the university of Johannesburg and a marketing honours degree from Vega school.

As a journalist at heart Carol wrote a 6-part children’s book series called “The African Adventures of Sena and Katlego” published by Lingua Franca publishers and illustrated by Sasha Richards-Schadeberg.

The books take the reader on an African adventure through its main character Sena and his teddy bear Katlego. They visit Sena’s family across Africa including South Africa, Chad, Uganda, Egypt, Ghana and ESwatini.

The books are informative and inspire curiosity and appreciation for the African continent.
